A superfood-packed breakfast bowl featuring a mix of oats and amaranth, soaked in soy milk for high protein, and topped with antioxidants-rich berries, chia seeds, and fresh fruit.
This is not your average bowl of cereal. We build it with fiber-rich cereal, fresh fruit, and a protein boost so it actually lasts until lunch. Crunchy, sweet, and quietly filling.

β οΈ Common Mistakes
- β
Grain Texture: Amaranth can be slightly crunchy if undercooked. Ensure it is soft and "popped" before adding it to your cereal bowl.
- β
Sugar Overload: Use the natural sweetness of the frozen berries and banana to your advantage. Try tasting the bowl before adding syrup to see if you even need it!
π Variations
Warm Breakfast: During colder months, heat the soy milk on the stove before pouring it over the grains to create a warm, comforting porridge bowl.
Chocolate Kick: Add a teaspoon of raw cacao powder or nibs for an antioxidant-rich morning treat.
π§ Storage
- π¦
While the toppings should be added fresh, you can pre-mix the grains and store them in the fridge to save time in the morning.
π‘ Chef Tips
Texture Contrast: If you prefer a crunch, add a handful of raw pumpkin seeds or walnuts.
Amaranth Prep: Amaranth has a nutty, earthy flavor and a porridge-like consistency when cooked. If you are prepping for the week, cook a large batch and keep it in the fridge; it lasts 4β5 days!
