- π« 2 tablespoons (20g) maltodextrin powder

- π« Optional: 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Place the apples and water in a saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat for 15-18 minutes until very soft.
Mash with a potato masher, or blend for a perfectly smooth puree.
Stir in the lemon juice, cinnamon and salt.
Whisk in the maltodextrin until fully dissolved.
Optionally sweeten with maple syrup, then cool completely before storing.
