**Blend:** Carefully transfer the mixture to a blender. Add the plant-based milk and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
**Combine:** Return the soup to the pot. Stir in your pre-cooked vegetables (carrot, corn, broccoli, etc.) to add texture and color.

⚠️ Common Mistakes
- ✕
Over-boiling Milk: Do not let the soup boil aggressively after adding the plant-based milk, as some types of plant milk (like soy or almond) may curdle or separate at high heat.
- ✕
Liquid Ratio: Start with less liquid than you think you need; you can always add more to reach your preferred thickness after blending.
🔄 Variations
Herb Infusion: Add a handful of fresh basil or mint before blending for a bright, herbal freshness.
Protein Boost: Stir in a few tablespoons of white beans or silken tofu before blending to make the soup extra creamy and protein-rich.
🧊 Storage
- 📦
This soup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove; if it thickens too much, add a splash of water or milk to loosen.
💡 Chef Tips
Silky Texture: Use a high-speed blender for the smoothest possible soup; if using a standard blender, strain the soup through a fine-mesh sieve for a professional, velvet finish.
Vegetable Variety: Feel free to use leftover roasted vegetables in this soup to minimize food waste and add roasted flavor notes.
