Blackberry & Strawberry Popsicles
By the QuiteRecipes team (Jamy & Kaïna) | Food Service Professional, Early Childhood Expert & Parents
Cool down with these vibrant, creamy blackberry and strawberry popsicles. A simple, three-ingredient recipe that’s naturally sweet, refreshing, and entirely vegan.
The afternoon meltdown, frozen on a stick. Diced berries stirred through creamy vegan milk make popsicles that are tart, sweet, and calm — a dessert that turns hot afternoons into a treat without reaching for the sugar bowl.
🥄 Ingredients
- 🫗 1 cup blackberries and strawberries (mixed)
- 🫗 1 cup vegan milk (oat or almond milk works best for a neutral creaminess)
- 🫗 Agave, maple syrup, or sugar (to taste)

👨🍳 Instructions
**Blend:** Combine the fresh berries, vegan milk, and your choice of sweetener in a blender.
**Pulse:** Blend until smooth. If you prefer a texture with chunks of fruit, pulse briefly; for a uniform, "creamsicle" style, blend until completely liquefied.
**Pour:** Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. If you don't have molds, small paper cups with wooden sticks work perfectly.
**Freeze:** Place in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours, or until completely solid.
**Release:** To remove from the molds easily, run the outside of the mold under warm water for 10–15 seconds.

⚠️ Common Mistakes
- ✕
Air Bubbles: If your mixture is thick, tap the mold firmly against the counter after pouring to release any large air bubbles so your popsicles don't have holes in them.
- ✕
Wooden Stick Alignment: If you are using paper cups, don't insert the stick immediately. Freeze for 1 hour until the mixture is slushy, *then* insert the stick—it will stand upright perfectly!
🔄 Variations
Yogurt Pops: Replace the vegan milk with vegan coconut yogurt for a thicker, more "fudgy" popsicle.
Herb Infusion: Add a few fresh mint leaves to the blender for a sophisticated, refreshing finish.
🧊 Storage
- 📦
Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds and store them in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 weeks.
💡 Chef Tips
Sweetness Test: Fruit sweetness can vary. Taste your mixture *before* pouring it into the molds—the mixture should taste slightly sweeter than you want the final popsicle to be, as freezing dulls the perception of sweetness.
Layers: For a beautiful aesthetic, don't blend everything together. Mash the berries slightly, stir into the milk, and pour. This creates a "swirled" look rather than a solid color.
